Slack
Connecting your Coassemble workspace to Slack lets you deliver training inside Slack, identify learners automatically, and track starts and completions without leaving Slack. It's a connected integration on paid plans, not just pasting a link.
The Slack integration links your Coassemble workspace to your Slack workspace so learning lives in the flow of daily work. Once connected, you can push courses and collections into Slack, learners get in with a single secure link, and you get visibility back, all without anyone switching tools.
What the integration gives you
- Delivery inside Slack. Push courses and collections straight to a Slack channel or to someone via direct message, so training appears where your team already is. On Hub, a shared course or collection appears in the channel's feed and in members' to-do lists.
- Seamless access for learners. Learners receive a secure, one-time authentication link, so they get in without a separate login or email invite. Because they authenticate, they're tracked as Identified Recipients.
- Real-time visibility for admins. You're notified when a learner starts or completes a course, so you can follow progress without leaving Slack.
- Access control by domain. On Hub, domain locking lets you restrict access to people whose email is on a domain you specify, which suits company-wide internal training.
Connecting your workspace to Slack
The Slack integration is set up from your Coassemble workspace, connecting it to your Slack workspace so you can select channels and people when you share.
How this differs from just pasting a link
On any plan you can paste a course share link into Slack by hand, and it'll work. The integration adds the connected experience on top: choosing channels and people from inside Coassemble, one-time authentication so learners are identified, appearance in channel feeds and to-do lists, and start and completion notifications back to you.
Frequently asked questions
Does the integration identify my learners?
Yes. Learners open courses through a secure one-time link, so they're tracked as Identified Recipients rather than anonymous.
